5. In the figure ,ABCD is a rectangle with dianmensions 6cm and 10cm .AE intersect CD at F.If the areas of ∆ADF is 10cm(area) less than the areas of ∆CEF ,find the length of CE.


6. Four congruent right-angle triangles each with sides forming the right angle equal to 6cm and 8cm ,are arranged to form a square PQRS as shown on the figure .Find the area of the shaded region ABCD.


7. on the first day ,one-sixth(1/6) of the books from a bookshelf were borrowed by the student;on the second day ,30 books from the same shelf were borrowed; and on the third day ,the number of books borrowed was 11 less than the number of books borrowed was on the first two day.If after the third day, 1per12 (1/12) of the number of books were left ,find the total number of books borrowed on first total number of books borrowed on the first three day.

8. If A works on a project for 5 hours and then continued by B ,the project will be completed in 3 hours .If B works on the same project for 9 hours ,and continues by A ,it will also de completed in 3 hours .if A works on the project for 1 hour,and continued by B ,how long will be B take to completed the project.

10. A bats ate 1050 mosqiutoes in four night .Each night she ate 25 more than the night before .how many did she eat on the fourth night
